Yummy and reasonable/or cheap foodcourts from a local Singaporean
I am lucky to have a local foodie friend, so I know more food stalls and food courts to enjoy and try out here. We’re also lucky to have the diversify team, to know more about the food cuisines and their favourites.
Here are some food stalls that we tried and enjoyed so much
- NTU campus, canteen 9 (hall 9) with favourite stalls:
- – Indian food with curry chicken, biryani rice.
- – Chinese food with dishes
- Taman Jurong Market and Foodcourt
- – Tien Lai Rice Stall, never have a chance to eat there because they are all running out when I was there
- – Sikkander Briyani’s, the curry chicken with Roti.
- – Leng Huat Fishball Noodle and Laksa. Laksa is one of my favourite disk in Singapore.
- Yuhua Village Food Centre
The most surprise thing when I came here, I saw a lot of fancy cars, BMW, Audi, etc. Although the foodcourts look normal as other foodcourts.- – Chicken rice @Fei fei roasted noodles
- – Heng heng cooked food: chicken porridge for 1 person.
- 399 Foodcourt @Taman Jurong Shopping center
- Fried rice
- Dry noodle
- Ayam Penyet chicken
- Little Myanmar Halal Food, Shwe Kant Kaw Myanmar Cuisine @Clementi

Notes:
- Halal is an Arabic term which means permissible, so halal food is for Muslim. And they have to get the certificate in Singapore. Usually they used colorful plates to distinguish.
- Non-halal food for all remaining people, they can eat both (halal and non-halal food).
